Hi everyone,

As you may know, the VOU policy is that if any of the three community pools hear thunder, all three must close.

Right now, thunder has been heard as of 5:25pm, so we can’t start practicing until 5:55 at the earliest. Our hope and goal is to start at 5:55 or soon after and to hold 8 and Under, Mini Crabs and 11 and Over at their normal time (8 and Under starting at 5:55 instead of 5:45).

Again, every time that there is thunder, we have to wait another 30 minutes. If there is still thunder as of 6:00, meaning we wouldn’t be able to start until 6:30 or later, we will cancel the remainder of practices for the day. 

I will be in touch soon to let you know if and when we will be able to start practice.
