2025 Season Wrap-Up
Hi Blue Crabs!
We hope that you are enjoying your final days of summer! Before we head-off into the start of school and fall activities, we didn’t want any more time to pass without putting the final touches on an incredible 2025 summer swim season.
This email is our season wrap-up, which includes a brief recap of the All-Star Meet and our Awards Ceremony, as well as information about picking up 2025 Blue Crabs pins, and a look ahead to our 2026 season.
ALL-STAR MEET RECAP
Last season, we had a total of 33 swimmers qualify as FSSL all-stars and came away with 11 top 3 finishes at the all-star meet (9 second place, 2 third place). It was a solid performance that pointed forward to bigger things to come. And, boy, our Blue Crabs swimmers outdid themselves in 2025!
Our 42 all-star qualifiers set 24(!) new team records during the all-star meet and amassed 30(!!) top-3 finishes, including 18(!!!) first-place swims (full results here)! As a team we had the most all-star champions (Windsor Knolls had the second most with 14), and if this meet was scored like a regular meet we would have finished as the runner-up.
A huge shout-out goes to all of our top-3 finishers: Ava Cecilia (9-10 – 1st in 25y breast), Mason Garmon (13-14 – T-3rd in 50y free, 3rd in 50y breast, 3rd in 100y free), Madison Koehn (6 & under – 1st in 25y free, 1st in 25y back), Alberto Nevares (9-10 – 1st in 25m free; 1st in 100y IM, 1st in 25y back, 1st in 25y fly), Carmen Nevares (11-12 – 1st in 100y IM, 2nd in 50y breast, 2nd in 50y back, 3rd in 100y free), Conner Stanley (13-14 – T-3rd in 50y free, 1st in 50y breast, 1st in 50y back, 1st in 100y free), Spencer Stanley (11-12 – 1st in 50y free, 1st in 100y IM, 1st in 50y back, 1st in 50y fly), Elliot Voas (13-14 – 3rd in 100y IM, 3rd in 50y fly), Eric Yi (8 & under – 1st in 50y free, 2nd in 25y fly), and Jarrett Zhou (13-14 – 2nd in 50y free, 1st in 100y IM, 2nd in 50y back, 1st in 50y fly). And congratulations to all 42 our all-star qualifiers! You all are an impressive group, and we look forward to seeing what you can do next year!
One more shout-out goes to our outstanding coaching staff! Each one of our coaches plays such an important role in making the Blue Crabs swim team what it is and we are so grateful for each of you!
AWARDS RECAP

2025 PIN PICKUP
If you have not yet received your 2025 Blue Crab pin (this is for every member of the Blue Crabs and Mini Crabs), they are available for pick-up at 8695 Satinwood Drive. The pins will be in a bowl on the porch and available between 8 AM and 8 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (August 8-10).

For all you planners, here are some tentative dates for next season. These are subject to change but should give you an idea of what the 2026 season holds.
April 1 – registration opens for returning swimmers
April 15 – registration opens for new swimmers
May 17 – Meet & Greet Popsicle Night
May 26 – First day of Practice for Blue Crabs
June 6 – Time Trials
June 8 – First day of Practice for Mini Crabs
June 13 – Home Meet
June 20 – Away Meet
June 27 – Home Meet
July 7 – Relay Carnival
July 11 – Away Meet
July 14 – Mighty Mini Meet
July 18 – Division Championship Meet
July 19 – End of Season Party
July 25 – FSSL All-Star Meet
