It’s hard to believe, but we are exactly 15 days away from our first day of practice! We are excited to be getting started on another summer of fun, skill development, and competition in our wonderful community. This post is filled with important information and fantastic opportunities to be a part of all the great things we have going on this summer!

BLUE CRABS APPAREL

Our apparel store is closing on Sunday, May 17. You have just a few days left to place your orders. Merchandise should be available for pick-up by Time Trials on June 6 (which is also Coach Alyssa’s birthday!).

THE BEST VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Ever wished you could be right on deck, close to the action, watching every start, turn, and finish of your swimmer’s race? Here’s your chance! We’re inviting parents to join our team as swim officials—one of the best ways to be part of the meet while supporting your swimmer and the entire team. The best part? It’s much easier (and more fun!) than you might think.

You’ll get a front-row view of every race, learn more about the sport your kids love, and play an important role in making meets run smoothly. No prior experience is needed—we provide simple training and guidance every step of the way. Most parents are surprised by how quickly they pick it up!

Summer swim team can’t happen without officials, so please consider REGISTERING FOR A TRAINING HERE. In-person training will take place on May 18th at 7pm in Spring Ridge. Virtual trainings will be offered on May 26, May 28, June 9

MEET-N-GREET POPSICLE NIGHT

Please join us this Sunday, May 17 from 6:00-7:00 PM in the courtyard area by the Stone Barn Rec Barn. We will have various tents set-up where you can meet the coaches, eat a popsicle, hang out with friends, and try-on swimsuits. We are looking forward to a fun time kicking off the season!

TEAM SWIM SUITS

If you’re interested in purchasing a team swimsuit (not required, but to access the shop enter username "urbanacrabs" and password "blue"), but aren’t sure what size to get, there will be a try-on station on Sunday at the Meet-n-Greet. This will be in front of the regular entrance to the pool/clubhouse. Please bring your pool pass if you think you might have your swimmer try-on a suit.
